- How do you access our Microsoft 365 environment?
We never ask for global admin passwords. Instead, you create a GDAP (Granular Delegated Admin Privileges) partner relationship with iTechtics. This gives us least-privileged, time-bound access that’s fully auditable. It’s the Microsoft-recommended approach for managed service providers, and it works perfectly for remote clients worldwide.
- What Microsoft 365 licenses do we need?
It depends on your needs. Microsoft 365 Business Basic is great for email and collaboration, Business Standard adds desktop Office apps, and Business Premium includes advanced security and Intune device management. During our initial audit, we’ll analyze your requirements and recommend the most cost-effective licensing plan — we often help clients save money by right-sizing their licenses.
- We already have Microsoft 365 set up. Can you still help?
Absolutely. Most of our clients come to us with existing tenants that need security hardening. We start with a comprehensive audit to identify gaps — misconfigured MFA, missing email authentication records, orphaned accounts, unmanaged devices — and then systematically fix everything. The audit alone often reveals critical vulnerabilities that clients weren’t aware of.
- Do you support BYOD (Bring Your Own Device)?
Yes — this is one of our core strengths. Using Microsoft Intune, we create policies that protect company data on personal devices without affecting personal apps or files. We can enforce encryption, require app-level PINs, prevent copy/paste of company data to personal apps, and remotely wipe only company data if a device is lost or an employee leaves.
- What happens when an employee joins or leaves?
We handle the complete user lifecycle. For new employees: account creation, license assignment, email setup, Teams access, and device enrollment. For departing employees: account disabling, mailbox conversion to shared, OneDrive access transfer to their manager, device un-enrollment, and access revocation — all documented and handled within your SLA timeframe.
- Can you work with clients outside of Pakistan?
Yes! Microsoft 365 management is entirely cloud-based, so geography doesn’t matter. We serve clients across the US, EU, UAE, and Asia. Our GDAP access model is built for remote management. All communication happens through email, Teams, and scheduled calls. Many of our long-term clients have never needed an on-site visit.
- How quickly can you start?
We can begin the initial tenant audit within 48 hours of signing the engagement. The complete setup phase (audit, security baseline, policy configuration, documentation) typically takes 1–2 weeks depending on tenant complexity. Ongoing management begins immediately after the setup phase is complete. Emergency security issues can be addressed on the same day.
